Project Overview
- Client/Partner: International client in biodiversity and sustainability sectors
- Date: January 2023 – May 2023
- Location: Global focus (Angola, Brazil, France, Morocco, Mozambique, Portugal)
- Industry: Environmental Sustainability, Consulting, Lead Generation
- Service: Internationalization
Challenge
The challenge was to convey the complex and multidimensional concepts of wellbeing, happiness, and sustainability to students from diverse academic backgrounds. One key question involved how to adapt economic models and social policies from Scandinavian countries to different cultural and economic contexts, such as the United States.
Methodology
-
Approach: A multi-stage approach was employed, beginning with data collection from the Orbis platform, followed by detailed lead qualification using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data validation. The project was focused on strategic sectors such as renewable energy, oil and gas, environmental services, and consulting firms that prioritize biodiversity.
-
Tools Used:
- Orbis (for primary data collection on international companies)
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator (for identifying and verifying key contacts)
- Data validation tools to ensure accuracy and relevance
Solution
Phibon conducted an internationalization analysis focusing on six key markets: Angola, Brazil, France, Morocco, Mozambique, and Portugal. The solution involved:
- Database Development: Creation of a detailed contact database with over 566 verified contacts, exceeding the initial target of 420 contacts by 146.
- Lead Segmentation: Contacts were segmented into three key categories: decision-makers, influencers, and disruptors, ensuring targeted outreach.
- Sector Focus: The data collection targeted companies in energy, biodiversity consulting, renewable energy, and sustainability-focused sectors, providing a strategic edge in future engagements.
Results
- Quantitative Impact: A robust database of 566 validated contacts across the six markets, with 93.4% of contacts having an associated LinkedIn profile, 90.6% with a company website, and 92.7% with direct email contacts. This success rate far exceeded the industry average for lead generation in niche sectors.
- Qualitative Impact: The analysis provided valuable insights into market-specific trends and opportunities in biodiversity consulting, fostering new exploratory contacts and partnerships.
