Who is responsible

The controller for personal data collected through this site is Phibon I/S, a Danish interessentskab (general partnership), CVR 43212036, VAT DK43212036, registered at Taffelæblevej 4, st. tv., 2500 Valby, Denmark. The partners are David Pereira de Castro and Alexander Gamerdinger. Write to info@phibon.eu about anything on this page.

Phibon has not appointed a data protection officer. It is not required to, given the scale and nature of this processing, and enquiries go to the address above.

What the site collects

The contact form. If you submit it we receive the name, email address, sector and description you type in, and the page you sent it from. We use that to reply to you and to carry the enquiry forward if it becomes an engagement.

Analytics. None. No analytics script of any kind is loaded, and the site's Content Security Policy does not permit one, which is why the site shows no cookie banner.

Server logs. Netlify, which hosts the site, records request metadata (IP address, timestamp, path, user agent) for security and abuse prevention and keeps it for a short period on its own schedule.

Fonts. The typefaces are served from this site's own domain. Loading a page contacts no third party for them, and no font provider learns anything about you.

The backoffice. The console at /admin/ is not public. It keeps work in progress in the editor's own browser storage and sends nothing anywhere.

What it does not collect

No advertising and no cross-site tracking. No profiling. No automated decision-making, including no profiling of the kind described in Article 22 of the GDPR. No special categories of personal data are requested anywhere on the site.

Why we are allowed to process it

Your enquiry: Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. Server logs: Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure. Analytics: Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in understanding which pages are read, using a tool that identifies nobody.

Who else sees it

Formspree receives a form submission as our processor and passes it to our mailbox. Netlify processes server logs as our processor. Our email provider stores the resulting correspondence. Nobody else receives your data. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own purposes.

Transfers outside the EU and EEA

Some of the providers above are established outside the EU and EEA, or may process data there. Where that happens it is covered by the transfer mechanism in that provider's data processing agreement. We will name the providers and the mechanism here once the legal review of this page is complete.

How long we keep things

An enquiry that does not become an engagement is deleted within 24 months. Correspondence relating to an engagement is kept for as long as the relationship and any statutory retention obligation require. Server logs follow the hosting provider's own schedule.

Do you have to give us anything

No. Nothing on this site requires personal data. The contact form asks for a name and an email address only because we cannot reply without them; if you would rather not use it, write to info@phibon.eu directly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your personal data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, and for portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you did. Write to info@phibon.eu.

You also have the right to complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency (https://www.datatilsynet.dk), or to the supervisory authority where you live.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will say so here rather than quietly replacing it.
